Semester RockEd programming provides opportunities for youth, ages 8-18, to learn the basics or level up on their instrument of choice, collaborate on writing an original song with a band, record their original song, and experience performing in front of an audience at a local venue.

In every band, musicians will learn the basics of keeping time and music theory, understand songwriting and song structure, and build an appreciation for historic women and underrepresented artists up to modern pop-rock icons.

Bands are based on skill level, age, and instrument preference of drums, guitar, bass, keyboards, or vocals.
